The DBH 6078 radial shaft seal is a lip seal that stops lubricant from escaping and blocks dust, water or particles from entering equipment with a rotating shaft. It is press-fitted into the housing and runs on the shaft with a flexible lip that compensates for minor misalignment. It is a wear part: when the lip hardens or scores the shaft, it should be replaced before oil loss damages bearings and gears.

This oil seal has a shaft diameter of 133.35 mm, a housing bore of 155.60 mm and a height of 14.28 mm. The Lz design corresponds to a seal with a sealing lip and reinforced construction for continuous service.
