LSHS linear guides are rails with ground raceways on which carriages with ball recirculation slide; the initials indicate the guide series and the accompanying number indicates the size. LUHR linear units integrate a linear bearing in a machined housing, ready to mount on cylindrical shafts; LUJR and LUCF are unit variants with different housing and mounting configurations. LBBR and LBCR linear bearings work on cylindrical shafts and are identified by the nominal diameter; LBCF and LBCD correspond to flanged or double versions, and LBC4 to compact series. Suffixes 2LS and D-2LS indicate double sealing, and HV6 a special design of the cage or material.

Typical applications include machine tool axes, automation actuators, manipulators, measuring equipment and positioning systems. In each case, the choice depends on radial and axial load, travel speed, required precision and environmental conditions. 2LS seals are suitable for environments with dust or chips, while unsealed versions are used in clean, high-speed applications.
