Bearing housings

This is our specialty. We have manufactured them in Buenos Aires for decades, under the EMMAR brand, and they are the reason why much of Argentine industry knows us.

A split plummer block housing has the body divided into two halves. This allows the bearing to be mounted and dismounted without removing the shaft from the machine, which in a long transmission or a conveyor is the difference between stopping for an hour and stopping for a full shift. The housing is machined for spherical roller bearings—series 222 and 223 with adapter sleeve—and the sealing is selected according to the environment: a clean workshop does not require the same as a quarry with dust or a plant that is washed with pressurized water.

We manufacture series SN, SNL, SONL, SAF, FNL, TVN and 722500, plus special bodies per drawing. They are interchangeable with the standard series on the market, so they replace what is already installed without touching the foundation or redoing the support.

Self-aligning bearing units are another thing: one-piece body, with the insert bearing already mounted inside and fixed to the shaft by set screws. Series UCP with base, UCF and UCFL with flange, UCT take-up. They mount quickly, accept initial misalignment and are the usual solution in agriculture, conveyor belts and light machinery. There are also stainless steel versions for the food industry.

If the housing you need is no longer manufactured, we reproduce it. Send us the original part, even if broken, or the drawing. It is one of the few things we do that almost no one else in the country does.
