The Gates MGTV series timing belt is a toothed power transmission element that transmits synchronized motion between pulleys, without slipping. It is used when the transmission ratio must remain exact, such as in machine tool drives, packaging equipment or positioning systems. MR Accesorios Industriales sells this line in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and quotes it for you on WhatsApp with the code or size you need.

The MGTV series designation is read in steps: the first number indicates the pitch in millimeters, the letters MGTV identify the construction, the second number is the pitch length in millimeters and the last one, the width in millimeters. For example, 8MGTV-640-12 corresponds to a belt with 8 mm pitch, 640 mm length and 12 mm width; 8MGTV-800-36 combines 800 mm length with 36 mm width. Tell us the size or the code and we will quote it for you.

These belts are used in transmissions that demand synchronism and high efficiency: machine tools, filling and labeling equipment, industrial printers, light conveyor systems and shaft drives in the food, wood and metalworking industries. In Argentina, MR Accesorios Industriales sells them for replacement and for new projects, with more than 80 years of experience in the field.

To select the belt, take into account the pitch, the length and the width according to the pulley and the power to be transmitted. Check the alignment of the pulleys and the correct tension: a timing belt works with moderate tension and should not be forced. Check that the teeth and the pulley grooves are clean and free of wear. Lubrication does not apply to this type of belt; care consists of keeping the environment free of oils and contaminants that affect the compound.

Timing belts are identified by their pitch, length and width, and different brands may offer equivalent sizes. If you bring a belt without identification or the code from another brand, at MR Accesorios Industriales we will tell you the alternative compatible with your application. Interchangeability depends on the pitch, length, width and tooth profile matching; with that data, we will quote the option that best fits your equipment.

To move forward with your order, send us on WhatsApp the full code or the dimensions of the belt you need. At MR Accesorios Industriales we will quote you shortly and advise you so that the Gates MGTV series timing belt works correctly in your transmission.
