The DBH 8042 radial shaft seal is a lip seal mounted between a rotating shaft and a fixed housing to retain lubricant and block the entry of dust, water or particles. Its dimensions of 80 mm shaft, 100 mm housing and 13 mm height place it in medium-size power transmission equipment, where reliable sealing defines the service life of the bearing and the assembly.

The DBH 8042 is a radial shaft seal with Mx design, with 80 mm shaft diameter, 100 mm housing diameter and 13.00 mm height. The sealing lip runs on the shaft and the outer diameter is press-fitted into the housing. During installation, lubricate the lip, seat the seal squarely and tap evenly on the outer edge, never on the lip. If the housing has burrs, clean it before inserting the seal.
