The DBH 5385 radial shaft seal is a lip seal that closes off the passage of oil and grease at the point where a shaft rotates inside a housing. With 85 mm shaft, 105 mm housing and 13 mm height, and Lx design, it is mounted in gearboxes, pumps and power transmission equipment where lubricant must be retained and the entry of dust or water stopped. It is a wear part: when it starts to leak, it is replaced.
