The DBH 5030 radial shaft seal is a lip seal that closes off the passage of lubricant and blocks the entry of dust and moisture at the point where a shaft passes through a housing. It is press-fitted into the housing and runs on the rotating shaft, with a flexible lip that maintains contact. It is a wear part: when oil loss or dirt ingress appears, it is replaced.
