How to find a code in the SKF catalog
- Identify the type from the start of the code: 6 is a deep groove ball bearing, 222 spherical roller, 302 tapered, NU cylindrical and SNL a split plummer block housing.
- Open that type's chapter. Each one starts with the designation chart listing the prefixes and suffixes of that family.
- Find the row for your bore diameter d: the product tables go from smallest to largest.
