The suffix 2RS1 indicates a contact rubber seal on both sides, and 2Z, as in W 6000-2Z, two metal shields. Variants with an added suffix, such as W 6000-2RS1/VP311 and W 6000-2Z/VT127, correspond to special executions of the same size.

To choose, you must decide the closure according to the environment: contact seals offer more protection against water and dirt, and shields provide less friction at higher speeds. In washdown applications, seals are the usual choice. Since the load capacity of a stainless steel bearing is lower than that of a chrome steel bearing of the same dimensions, it is advisable to verify the load and speed of the equipment.
