Special bearings are components that cover requirements a standard bearing does not solve: housings with non-standard dimensions, particular load or speed conditions, demanding operating temperatures, or equipment-specific mounting interfaces. The series in this line use SKF's own nomenclature for special designs. BC1 and BB1 group bearings of particular design, with internal designations that do not follow the standard series scheme.
