Gummi couplings in the M Line are gear couplings: two toothed steel hubs that mesh with a double molded nylon sleeve. They transmit torque in a torsionally rigid way, without lubrication and with free axial movement. The Gummi M Line works with a molded nylon sleeve that meshes with the teeth of both steel hubs. That double sleeve maintains the link between the shafts, allows free axial movement and needs no lubrication. The designation is read with the line letter and a size number: M-14, M-19, M-24, M-28, M-32, M-38, M-42 and M-48.
