The Gummi Type A elastic coupling with AV configuration is a rubber-center coupling designed for high speeds and dynamically balanced. The flexible tire absorbs angular, radial and axial misalignment and dampens torsional shocks, which protects the bearings and reduces vibration in the motor-machine assembly. The Type A is Gummi's best-known rubber-center elastic coupling.
