The ADSMM-A coupling is a single-compensating metallic gear coupling, designed to be mounted on the tapered shaft of a rolling mill motor. It is part of the AD line from Gummi, an Argentine coupling manufacturer, and transmits torque between shafts through a heat-treated steel gear tooth. It is used in rolling mill trains and equipment where the motor has a tapered shaft and misalignment needs to be compensated.
