The DBH 9304 radial shaft seal is a lip seal designed for rotating shafts of 30 mm diameter, with a 50 mm housing and 7 mm height. Its function is to retain lubricant inside the assembly and prevent the entry of dust, water or particles that could damage bearings and bushings. It is press-fitted into the housing and runs on the shaft surface, which must be ground and lubricated. It is a wear part that should be replaced at every major teardown.
