The DBH 8439 seal is a single-lip radial seal that mounts on a 25 mm shaft and inside a 47 mm housing bore, with a height of 8.00 mm at the body and 10.50 mm at the lip. Its function is to retain lubricant inside the assembly and stop the entry of dust, water or particles. It is used in gearboxes, pumps, electric motors and transmission equipment that run with continuous rotation.

This seal is identified by its designation 8439 and by the A 135 design.
