The DBH 5150 radial shaft seal is a lip seal that closes the passage of lubricant outward and of dust, water or chips inward into the housing. It mounts on the shaft and against the housing diameter, with the height that defines the available space. It is a wear part: when the lip hardens or a leak appears, it is replaced.
