In 3206 A, the first two digits are the series and the last two the bore size. For the same bore, series 33 has a heavier section than series 32. The letter A that follows is part of the designation across almost the whole line; do not leave it out when copying.
Then come the blocks that set one execution apart from another. 3205 A-2Z and 3204 A-2RS1 add a block after the hyphen. 3206 A/C3 is the base 3206 A with an extra block after the slash, and 3200 ATN9 adds letters attached to the A. Each combination is a different reference in the catalog, even when bore, outside diameter and width match.

If the bearing cannot be read, measure bore, outside diameter and width; the width is what separates it from a deep groove ball bearing of the same dimensions. Tell us whether it was open or capped, which machine it runs on and how the point is lubricated. If the equipment has a parts list, the item number helps confirm the reference.
