A cylindrical roller thrust bearing works with the load in the axial direction. The rollers make line contact with the raceways, so it handles high axial loads with little deformation and provides great rigidity. It is single-acting, meaning it takes load in one direction only, and is not self-aligning. It is selected by shaft and housing diameter, axial load and speed.
In the 811 series, the last two digits multiplied by 5 give the bore diameter, except in the smallest sizes: 81128 from NTN is 140 mm. The part numbers are completed with the component: K81128 is the roller and cage assembly, WS81128 the shaft washer and GS81128 the housing washer; they are ordered separately when the raceways are provided by the machine. The suffixes TN in SKF (81104 TN) and TV in INA (81104-TV) indicate a polyamide cage. NSK uses its own designations, such as 140 TMP 12.
Typical applications are vertical shafts, rotary tables, press columns, gearboxes, vertical pumps and lifting mechanisms. The washers must rest on flat surfaces perpendicular to the shaft, because the bearing poorly absorbs any misalignment.
We work with INA, NTN, SKF and NSK cylindrical roller thrust bearings. Send us via WhatsApp or email the complete part number, or the shaft and housing dimensions with the load direction, and we will quote it promptly. If it comes from a bearing of another brand, we will indicate the equivalent.
Dimensions and tolerances: Send us the part number via WhatsApp and we'll confirm the dimensions and version against the manufacturer's data sheet.
