In general, the final number is divided by 16 to obtain the shaft diameter in inches. Thus, a code ending in 08 corresponds to a 1/2 inch shaft, 12 to 3/4 inch, 16 to 1 inch, and so on. For metric shafts, some models use designations in millimeters.
